Herry's Market Day, an outdoor flea market, gets underway 8a.m., the last Saturday of each month, on the grounds of the Hospice Thrift Shoppe, on Periwinkle Lane, in Homosassa.
That is located right behind Wendy's, and Auto Zone, east of Highway 19.
February's market is Saturday.
In an effort to establish the market, free, but a limited amount, of vendor spaces are available.

Dinner theater show dates are February 23rd through 25th–that's Thursday through Saturday at the Lecanto High School cafeteria.
The show features 16 talented singers doing classic show tunes, in a Broadway review.
Lasgnais on the menu.
Dinner is six. Shows start at seven.
Dinner and show is $20. Show only is $10. Student tickets are $6.

Citrus YMCA is taking reservations for it's Spring Break Camp, March 12th-16th.
The camp, at First Presbyterian Church, in Inverness, features games crafts, sports and field trips. It begins at 7a.m., for working parents and pick up extends until 5:30p.m. daily.
The camp is open to youths ages 5-12. Registration deadline is March 5th. Cost is $80. Financial assistance is available.

Citrus Builder's annual Jim Blackshear Golf Outing is March 10th at Inverness Golf and Country Club.
Registration is $60. It gets underway at 7a.m., with a shotgun start at eight.

A dinner theater murder/ mystery /comedy, "The Last Dance of Dr. Driscol," benefitting CASA of Citrus, has three March performances, at the ensemble ballroom, of Central Ridge Community Center in Beverly Hills.
The dates are Friday, March 9th, Saturday, the 10th and Sunday, the 11th.
Dinner is partof the package.

Citrus County Cruisers hold their 28th Manatee Car and Truck Show, Sunday, March 4th, at Crystal Automotive, on Highway 19, in Homosassa.
The judged show, rain or shine, for 1987 models, and older, offers top 50 awards plus best of show, best paint, best engine and best interior.
Registration is $15 advance, $20 on the day of the show.

This is in addition to critical life saving calls.
Sheriff, Jeff Dawsey, and fire officials, say this will shave crucial seconds from response times, especially in remote areas.

The event is jointly sponsored by Parks and Recreation and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
