| Where the magic happens: The Citrus 95.3 Studio. |
| Two racks of very expensive and complicated stuff that works with all the stuff in the studio to bring you literally everything
you hear on Citrus 95.3.
Left: The Studio and those two racks work together and pass on all communications to this tower.
This tower then sends it all instantly to the transmitter at the big tower in Ozello. Then it comes through your radio.
Right: When the power goes out, Citrus 95.3 stays on the air with this generator, which is protected by a gate and cheap mop against Invaders. |
| This satellite receives special programming like Florida Gator and Tampa Bay Buccaneer football. From there, it is transmitted to
a receiver located in one of those racks of expensive broadcast stuff. The Satellite feed is then available to the operator in the studio. |
| Production Room A. One of two rooms that have almost all the equipment found in a normal broadcast studio. This is where
voiceovers are recorded, commercials are produced, pre-taped interviews conducted, etc. A radio commercial can take anywhere from an hour two all day
to produce. For the audio engineer, this is the lab. |
| Production Room B. Most days, one room full of all that stuff isn't enough. So we have two fully equipped production
studios used to create and produce the highest quality radio commercials ever. |
The Bullpen. Where the office people hang out and work their magic. When a business wants to advertise, the salesperson
orders a commercial to be made. It is then produced in the Production Studio and once approved, you'll hear it on the air. |
