Safe Sitter Class

A safe sitter class for girls and boys ages 11 to 13 is Saturday, May 15th, at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center in Crystal River.
Safe Sitter is a medically accurate program teaching adolescents to handle emergencies when caring for younger children.

Jazzercise, a series of dance and fitness classes, begins Monday, May 3rd, at West Citrus Community Center, 8940 W. Veterans Drive, and Homosassa.
The classes are 4:30, for light format and 5:30 for regular format each Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
A first month special entitles participants to the joining fee, and a month of unlimited classes, for $30.
Jazzercise is sponsored by Parks ands Recreation.

An all inclusive trip to watch the Rays, play the Marlins, June 13th, at Tampa, is the prize, in a raffle, with a goal, of raising one thousand dollars, for Citrus Abuse Shelter Association---that’s C.A.S.A., at Inverness.
All inclusive means, two tickets, parking and concession pass, lodging at the downtown, St. Petersburg, Courtyard, by Mariot, and expenses—gas, meals and even tips.
Tickets are two dollars each. Five hundred will be sold. The raffle is June 9th. Chances are available at Homosassa Animal and Bird Hospital, Twisters, and at C.A.S.A.

This is the second of six free movies in five parks, to be shown in Citrus County through August.
Parks and Recreation hosts the movies, presented by the Florida Department of Health’s, Tobacco Prevention Program.

Hernando Letter Carriers Food Drive

Letter Carriers of Hernando County will put Publix shopping bags, in resident mailboxes, during coming weeks.
This is part of their annual food drive, set for Saturday, May 8th.
They ask bags be filled with non-perishable and non-breakable food goods for distribution to Hernando County food banks.

Camp Fusion
